What I Read in April 2020

I didn’t do too much reading over the past month. I was “going to” get into e-books since the library is closed but that didn’t happen. I’m just going to have to wait until things get back to normal to dive into my reading list in a real way.

I read Forge, by Laurie Halse Anderson, the sequel to Chains. This book was so awesome. I mentioned last month that I don’t like to read books with cruelty in them and there was some of that here, but not as much as in Chains.

After I babysat my nephews, I read How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. I love this book. I need to reread it. So much good guidance.

What Could He Be Thinking?: How a Man’s Mind Really Works, by Michael Gurian. I liked some parts of this book but overall it was pretty tedious. The first two or three chapters were the most interesting.

And that’s all for now! What have you read recently?
