A friend sent me a beautiful photo she had taken of a field of sunflowers. You could see in the photo how the flowers had turned their faces towards the sun. It was so unexpectedly moving and made them seem almost human.
I like metaphors and symbolic images and objects. The image of a sunflower turning its face towards the sun reminds me to turn towards gratitude when I can. Gratitude makes me happier —I’ve seen it happen for me — and with practice it feels more natural. Like a sunflower following the sun.
Sounds so pretty! I’d love to see the photo. Do you (and your friend) mind sharing it?
I’ll ask her!
