Hello, all. It’s shlissel challah week, the Shabbos after Pesach. I plan on wrapping and burying a key in my challah as I did last year instead of attempting a key-shaped challah. This segulah is supposed to remind us that Hashem holds the key to parnassah and it’s one of my favorites.
My roommate told me of another nice segulah for parnassah that she heard from Rav Elimelech Biderman, to feed leftover bread to the birds and watch them eat it. Birds know their parnassah comes from Hashem and watching them reminds us of this too. If you don’t want to scatter crumbs over your lawn, leave your leftover bread on the branches of a tree (although squirrels might get to it first).
