Hi, all, I hope you had a good one! I did b”H, and honestly I don’t know what it was that made it so. (Some years are hard, and some are easier). First and second days, we had married siblings over with their families, and on Shabbos chol hamoed I stayed home myself while my family went away because I needed the interlude. I ate all my meals at a neighbor (my childhood best friend’s parents, who also had a quiet house), and we joked that it was a 1:1 Shabbaton.
My nephews started reading Harry Potter so I went along with them and started (rereading) too — and it’s a greater pleasure than I had even imagined it would be. Truly such a delight!
All in all, we did it again, friends. Good job, everyone.
