Hello, all. I had hoped to write up something nice for Shavuos but suddenly, here we are. So this is a link to a Shavuos packet from Partners in Torah. I love their “Y”T in 30 minutes” packets because they give such a thorough and clear review of everything we should know about the Y”T. Previous Shavuos posts on this blog include this and this.
I am remembering a stunning floral arrangement my father’s siblings ordered for my grandparents in E”Y when I was in seminary. It was a huge bundle of pink peonies and golden wheat stalks. Just thinking about how magnificent and how Shavuos-y that was.
Shavuos is the yahrtzeit of Dovid Hamelech. Saying Tehillim and learning Tehillim are special things to do on Shavuos. (By the way, my friend highly recommended these classes).
