Last year I reread most of the Harry Potter series (and need to finish!) and the magic pulled me in all over again. The world of Harry Potter is better than I remembered! Revisiting the familiar places and people was honestly therapeutic.
Here are a few journaling prompts that I wrote based on the Harry Potter books (apologies in advance to those who aren’t — yet — Potterheads):
What do you see in the Mirror of Erised?
What is the shape of your boggart?
What do you hear in the presence of a dementor? How do you call up a Patronus? What shape does it take?
If you could visit someone else’ memory inside a Pensieve, whose and what memory would you choose?
If you were an Amigus, what is your animal form?
Shell Cottage represents a place of respite on the hero’s journey. What has been your place of respite? Or what can it be?
When Harry kicks off on a broomstick for the first time, he realizes, “This was easy. This was wonderful.” What is your “flow”?
What is your magical career?
What is your favorite subject at Hogwarts?
What is in your Room of Requirement?
What is written in your Letter from No One?
