In her book The Well-Lived Life, Dr. Gladys McGarey suggests a counterpart to the concept of manifesting: femifesting. Manifesting is, as we all know , the process of bringing something into being — but femifesting is what happens before. It is the gestation of those things as they develop in their own time. It’s a necessary and invisible part of the process, one that requires trust and patience. The author writes:
Sometimes while we’re wishing things would hurry up, they’re doing exactly what they should be doing…What if the longer things take, the better they are? What would that mean?
