I’m signed up for two personal development courses for Elul. The first is Rabbi Aryeh Nivin’s Elul Chaburah, which is a short series of classes on taking stock and setting goals for the coming year. I actually did this Elul course three years ago and it was incredible. It costs $1 (but you have to cancel your membership by September 19, 2019 if you only want to be billed for the Elul course).
The second course is a 3-class journaling series for Elul by Yocheved Rottenberg. I have taken three full-length courses over the past year with her (Journal to the Self, Life Story, and Relationship Renewal). She is located in Yerushalayim but also gives webinar courses for international members, which are recorded if the timing doesn’t work out for you. I am also thinking about signing up for another full-length course for the winter term.
I am a huge fan of courses and workshops, if it isn’t obvious by now :). And I’m always interested in learning about more. A couple of people have told me I must take the Sod Ha’Adam course. Another friend can’t speak highly enough about The Possible You seminar.
