I like to always have a variety of books checked out of the library, even if I don’t have time to read them all. I often dip in and out of various books, and it’s pleasant just having them around for company. I call this my book buffet.
Sometimes I’ll endlessly renew a book, never to actually read it, and other times I’ll read only a chapter or two but continue to reflect on them for weeks. Then there are those books that I read and promptly forget, and others that I study thoroughly, book darting up a wazoo and taking notes. Books are just my thing. Even when I’m too busy!
