Last year I bought myself the Pride and Prejudice parlor game, but never had the right time to break it out. Then a friend and I went to see the Rachel’s Place adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, and I remembered that I had this game sitting around. I told my friend about it, and since we were in the midst of making plans to visit another friend (who recently had a baby), we decided to bring it and play it then. Since I wasn’t crazy about the prompt cards, but love the response cards (which are all words and phrases taken directly from the novel), we came up with a version of our own, combining the Twisted Kichels prompts with the Pride and Prejudice responses to create a game to satisfy a very niche sense of humor (lol).
And we had a great time! We are totally doing this again.
The winner of the night: On my bucket list…a dishonourable elopement. LOL.
