What Helps

I wrote a lot in my journal about how I felt over Y”T and what helps me keep believing when I’m down. It’s basic but I wrote that the context really affects how I feel. When I am tired, stressed, lacking structure, or around my family for too long (love them but too much time brings up stuff like the fact that I feel like I’m disappointing everyone), I have a hard time. When I’m well-rested, doing things I enjoy, busy enough to be focused and engaged without being overwhelmed, and seeing friends, it’s a lot easier. Somehow this is not obvious in the moment. But these are things to work on to help myself.
