My friend made the most delectable treat for Friday night a few weeks ago. We ate together at another neighbor in our building and she brought them along. I just had to share. Here are her instructions:
Clean a carton of fresh strawberries (instructions here from the CRC, click to the last page).
Melt a bar of pareve chocolate (I used Shufra 47% dark chocolate for this and melted it in a pan on the oven right after it was turned off).
Dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate, lay them on a plate to harden for a bit in the fridge, and add picks or skewers if desired.

These were SO good (like way better than I was expecting) and I always love a romantic little treat.
