A year ago on Tisha B’Av I had my egg retrieval. It was a special experience — an act of building, of moving towards geulah on a day we mourn destruction and golus. We don’t know when the golus will end but we do know that each day and each mitzvah brings us closer. We don’t know when our personal challenges will end but we do know that each day and each zechus brings us closer to the end of this chapter and the beginning of the next.
I wish you the peace and safety to truly “go there” on Tisha B’Av — to feel the grief, the deep, painful longing for yeshuah, and to cry real tears for all of the pain.
