Alice in Wonderland

I feel like I am Alice, fallen down the rabbit hole to Wonderland, where everyone has their own logic and nothing actually makes sense.

I say one thing and the person I’m talking to hears another and I’m pretty sure I was clear but maybe I don’t speak the right language for this particular setting? Or I mosey along thinking I’m doing all the right things but apparently nope?

Sometimes shidduchim reminds me of the the caucus race from Alice in Wonderland. Everyone starts where they want and ends where they want and everyone is the winner and Alice has to give out prizes while she’s standing there helplessly confused.

(In the end it’s all a dream and Alice wakes up, of course.)
