A long time ago, I wrote about the importance of always having something to look forward to. At the time I was near the beginning of my graduate school journey; now I’m almost done. I am so incredibly grateful that I took the plunge and went back to school. Looking back on the past two years, I see that every step of the way was worth it.
So what’s next? Well, first: graduation, licensing, job applications, interviews. And then, please G-d, the beginning of a new professional life. I’m excited to dive into some awesome trainings, too. My bucket list of continuing education is endless. More and more goodies to look forward to.
In this area of my life, it’s really easy to feel optimistic. I sent off my job resume to one place last week and I could not stop smiling.
My friend and I spoke recently and she suggested that I get into the habit of reminding myself, “My future is bright. I don’t know what lies ahead, but I can trust that good things do.”
How about repeating these mantras to yourself or hanging them up where you can see them? And I can, too:
There is beauty in my future.
There is joy in my future.
There is success in my future.
There is triumph in my future.
There is connection in my future.
There is love in my future.
How do you feel about your future? What are you looking forward to?
Wow love this so flattered:)
Didn’t know you applied for a job!! Which ??
Lol! I am constantly quoting you, friend 😉 I applied for a full-time job where I am interning. Let’s pray!
